The Welcoming Park is a green area inaugurated in May 2019, at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Peace. The project to restore and open the park to the public was part of the restoration and enhancement of the area's trails: in fact, the Sanctuary is a stop on one of the routes of the Albisola hiking network.

A relaxing area surrounded by greenery, a stone's throw from the city center, the Welcoming Park is an oasis of peace suitable for families, children and those who want to practice outdoor activities and seek wellness and contact with nature. The park is the result of a project born from the synergy between the Municipality of Albisola Superiore, with SAI, a government-ran program of welcoming and integration, the Missionary Institute Apostolic School of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Arcimedia, supervisors of the project.
The Zambellini Urban Park was recovered, thanks to the collaboration between the City of Albisola Superiore and the AIB Albisola, Civil Defense Association, and inaugurated in 2022, following the restoration of the vast green area next to Villa Zambellini.

In the park, located between Via dei Siri and Via Carmo, it is possible to stroll through the greenery, discover the Mediterranean scrub with its trees and herbs and admire Albisola from above: from the church of San Nicolò and Castellaro, to villa Gavotti, to the church of Stella Maris, in the old town of Capo. The park is open daily from 8 a.m., closing at 5 p.m. (October to May) and 9:30 p.m. (June to September).
