The Albisola promenade, from the bridge on the Sansobbia stream til the old train tunnel is a long art trail created over time and looking over the sea.

Walking along it you can admire works by important international artists such as “Zebra Skin”, from the “Skin1” series, created by artist Bili Bidjocka, in multiform tiles; “Structureless Wellbeing” by artist Kristian Hornslet and also the ceramic panel, consisting of 210 painted tiles with the peculiar lettering called “Alb ISOLA”, by artist Milena Milani.
Going on you meet the cube by Corrado Levi “Homage to the World” - “Socle d’Albisola”, the ceramic panel “Salute to the Sea” by Alfredo Sosabravo, known as the heir of Wilfredo Lam. Then “Binding Shoes” by Franco Raggi, made in clay, and the Totem by the Argentinian artist Carlos Carlé, who in the 70s settled in Albisola, where he worked in various workshops kickstarting a significant ceramic production.

From the summer of 2023 the path has been enriched by the work “Urban Pyramid”, born from the need of redeveloping a concrete building and commissioned to artists Erics One and 750 ML. The work of urban art consists of two separate items, but at the same time in mutual dialogue from a conceptual and thematic standpoint: “Ceramic Sea” by Erics One and “Liquid Sky” by 750 ML.

At the end of the seaside promenade there’s the monumental bench named “Wave”, approximately 120 meters long, covered in polichrome gres porcelain tiles by the artists Aurelio Caminati, Carlos Carlé and Emanuele Luzzati, for a total area of about 250 sqm. The first 33 meters are by Carlé: a symphony of seawaves with spray that looks in relief and has shards as futher decoration.

The second trait is covered by a winding and fabulous dragon by Emanuele Luzzaati, while the third lot is by Aurelio Carminati who depicted the abduction of Europa and other mythological scenes involving the sea.
